CAVISION SHIPPING POLICY

Please note: Cavision products are manufactured in China, and due to recent changes in customs regulations, they may be subject to duties and tariffs, depending on its destination country. Please check with your country’s customs office to verify if such duties and tariffs are applicable. We will try our best to provide you with the correct harmonized codes for our products to the best of our knowledge.

For US customers: 

Due to the suspension of the de minimis exemption on August 29, 2025, any shipment going to the US are now subject to applicable duties/tariffs, regardless of value. As such, postal services are now required to collect duties/tariffs for packages via DDP (Delivery Duties Paid) postage before they enter the US.

Our online store currently does not have the capabilities to accommodate DDP pricing. All shipping quotes displayed on our online store reflect DDU shipping costs.

It is highly recommended for customers to contact us before placing your order online. This way, we can inform you regarding the harmonized code of the product, as well as the applicable tariff rate at the time. There is some negotiation room in regards to delegation of tariff charges. Once everything has been sorted out, we will issue you a Paypal invoice to pay for the revised amount.

Should you place your order without contacting us beforehand, you order will not be processed, and we will bill you to difference between DDU and DDP pricing via Paypal. If you decide not to pay the difference, then we will have no choice but to cancel the order. As a reminder, Paypal fees are no longer refundable. For international customers (other than US):

As we do not have access to customs regulations for all countries in the world, it is recommended that you contact us first for the harmonized code. Then, check with your local customs office to determine if there are any applicable duties/tariffs.

Once everything is in order, we will issue you a Paypal invoice to pay for a revised amount. Should there be an applicable tariff, there is some negotiation room in regards to delegation of tariff charges.

For Canadian customers:

Please contact us before placing your order for alternative postage options, as our system defaults to FedEx and it is unable to accommodate other courier or postal services at this time.

While our products are listed in USD, you do have the option to pay in CAD as well. Contact Cavision beforehand to determine the products you wish to order; we will then issue you an invoice in CAD using the current USD/CAD conversion rate, and you can pay either via Paypal or etransfer.

VANCOUVER LOCAL CUSTOMERS: You have the option to pick up your order. please choose the CUSTOM > OWN ACCOUNT shipping option, and specify in the ADDITIONAL COMMENTS/NOTES field that you wish to pick up your order at our Vancouver location. Cavision will then contact you to arrange an appointment for pick up.

For all customers:

Although Cavision does keep stock of most items, the ability to order an item online does not guarantee that it is in stock; if the item you are ordering is out of stock a Cavision customer service representative will contact you. If stock status is a concern to you, please contact Cavision to inquire about the stock status before ordering. Also, Cavision does not make any guarantees as to order processing times.

If the item is lost or damaged during shipping Cavision will not be held liable.  You will need to contact the shipping company to file a claim.

If you have an account with a major courier company, we can ship the items on your own account if you prefer; in this case, please choose the CUSTOM > OWN ACCOUNT shipping option, and add the following information into the ADDITIONAL COMMENTS/NOTES field: courier type, account number and preferred shipping method

If ordering numerous items together, the estimated shipping charge may be higher than necessary.  Please contact Cavision for a revised estimate.
